Abstract
In this talk, I will introduce the notion of rigid tableaux. We define the properties of a rigid tableau by representation theory of highest weight modules of affine Kac-Moody algebras. More precisely, to compute dimension formulas of maximal dominant weight spaces of highest weight modules, we have to define such family of tableaux. We prove that special families of rigid tableaux of certain shape are equinumerous to the number of lattices paths, generalized Motzkin (Riordan) paths and the dimension formulas of maximal dominant weight spaces of highest weight modules simultaneously.
In this talk, I will focus on its combinatorial aspects mainly. This talk is based on the work with Jang Soo Kim and Kyu-Hwan Lee.
